Recording off air and saving to a wav file

Is there a way to record a signal off the air and then save that to a place where it can then be sent, say via email, to another ham? I know you can record and play back over the air but I've not been able to find where that file is saved and if its accessible.
Similar question. Is there a way to record ssb messages and save like you can CW messages?
Thanks

Open the Wave menu and every time you hit the Record button Thetis will make a new recording in your Music folder.

NC3S, thanks! The "where is it saved" info was the info I needed.
I also found that 3rd party software, like at this link (free):
https://www.nch.com.au/software/free-do ... %20-%20WAV
will do the same thing but with more steps.
Appreciate the help and info!
Ron

I also do this with my StreamDeck, which also does a bunch of other presets for Thetis.
