Hermes Power consumption Protocol 2 vs 1

Hi, i have recently finished to build the Hermes board. With protocol 1 seams it work fine but with protocol 2 ,after some seconds,the power consumption in RX, drop from 700mA to 300mA and stop to work.
Maybe the problem could be related to F3 ?
I would like to know the correct value of power consumption in RX and TX, with protocol 1 and protocol 2

I would like also to know the total power consumption expected at 12VDC PSU in RX with protocol 1 and 2.
This also for understand if there are some HW issues.
The power consumption measured , in RX, with protocol 1 is about 700mA
