There is plenty of software out there to do this already, just like you need to use WSJT-X, or JS8Call, or Fldigi, etc.

The app "SonicPhoto" seems to be popular for this, but there are many others.

The openHPSDR version of PowerSDR never did that. You are thinking of the Flex version of PowerSDR like the one from KE9NS.
