Today I updated Thethis to version 2.10.3.6 x63 and (FW v.2.00 Protocol 2) dev_2. I now have no transmitter output power. Has anyone had such a problem?

There will be another Thetis release that's associated with the code change to prevent CW TX on an antenna selected for RX. Rick and I worked out what needed to happen and Rick has committed an update but a new release hasn't yet been generated. The solution to that has been a long journey with protocol changes, firmware changes, piHPSDR and Thetis changes. That could be responsible.


What mode are you using? If CW, press MOX on and off after a band change and see if that makes a difference.
And what client app are you using? This issue was resolved in piHPSDR some time ago.

FW v.2.00 Protocol 2) dev_2? Isn't that a firmware release for a non-G2 radio?

I believe it's the fw version that can be seen on the window title bar. Thetis, controling my G2, shows exactly the same version no.

Sorry for the mistake. My Tethis version is v.2.10.3.6x64 (01/28/24)dev_2. I don't know why it appears as Hermes in the Firmware setup. I installed the saturnprimary.bin file and got the output back. I haven't tried CW yet. I'll check it out today.

I have a new (4 days out of the box) G2 black face that came V10 firmware installed. Radio worked fine using Thetis on an external Windows PC. I work a lot of CW and wanted to avoid the possibility of a momentary RF spike on my RX beverage antennas so I upgraded FPGA firmware to V12. I thought it was a successful upgrade because the P2app listed the firmware as V12.

However, a TX waveform showed on the Thetis TX panadapter screen but no RF output on the internal Fwd Pwr meter or external Bird meter. I re-installed V10 and all is well again. Regrettably, looks like I am stuck with V10 forever.

you need to update piHPSDR first and then Saturn.

Roger - Thank you for your reply. However, I am using Thetis on an external W10 computer, not piHPSDR.
