BPF bypassing on transmit

Post by DO2ZA Erwin »

Hello all an Ritchie,

any news about this problem, postet on Ritchies github 13.03.24??

Is this the intended behavior? When sending any transmission with PS engaged, the BPF are switched out as if the "BPF Bypass on TX" box was checked, even if it isn't checked.

V. 2.10.3.6 d2

iI use 2.10.3.6.d2 with 7000 DLE MKII, and this Problem is real. I wish that the BPFs are aktive.
I was going back in Firmware and Thetis-Versions, but can not find a Version where it works.

What are the steps to replicate and confirm this? Are there immediate consequences to it being bypassed?

If it's bypassed during TX why does that matter?

And how would you even know if it were bypassed?

I has has been happening since at least 2,9.0. An orionII, and now recently saturn, based radio bypasses BPF1 if PureSignal is enabled. You can see the 'led' move to bypass when txing in this way.
