What is a good reliable add on board so I can use a dedicated ethernet port for a new to me 7000DLE MKII?

Thanks. 7000 arriving Friday. Has up to date P2 firmware and has been running on the most recent thetis release. Now I have to read up on setting it up.

If I connect directly to a port on the computer, then I cannot use other apps tcp/ip connectivity, or can i?

If you mean, for example, can WSJT-X talk to Thetis, that sort of thing is no problem. Remember that the "radio" is Thetis+ANAN together, and that nearly all connections are made to Thetis and not the ANAN hardware.
