Can VAC1 be used with the hardware MIC?
Hi All
Runing latest Thetis and 7000DLE MK2
I wanted to try and use a DVK built into DXLog for SSB Contest but when I activate VAC1 the mic thats plugged into the front of the Anan ceases to work.
is this normal operation?
Is there a work around other than running the audio through the PC?

DJControl Compact - Rotary Control Setup
Hi All
I am using Thetis 2.10.3.6 dev_6b and I'm trying to setup a DJControl Compact Midi Controller.
I have mapped some of the rotary controls for Mic, Comp and RIT, however the outcome is not as expected.
MIC only adjusts from 0 - +10
COMP only adjustd from 0 - 10
RIT is far to aggressive going ...

Thanks, they weren't set to this, will give that a try!w-u-2-o wrote:Go to Setup > DSP > Options.
If they are not already set like this, try changing filter type to linear phase and filter size to 1024.

Thetis > SDC using VAC - Ghost Signals
Hi all
I'm using Thetis > SDC using IQ via VAC, however looking at SDC skimmer I can see ghost signals, these are also reported as spots on the panadapter.
Is anyone else experiencing this please?
What could be the cause?

So I've set the output of VoiceMeeter to the M-Audio M-Track Solo ASIO 48khz 64
Changed the Registry entry to Voicemeeter Virtual ASIO

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis 2.10.3.5 pre 3
ASIO4ALL is just a wrapper around the standard WDM driver and will create more latency than the WDM driver by itself. It's kind of a joke.
This is where Voicemeeter can be useful. It will allow an ASIO connection via its virtual ASIO drivers. Then you can route through Voicemeeter to any sound app ...

Jim,
You never replied to my post above so I don't know if you ever tried the configuration I suggested. It's the same setup Scott advised me to try in an earlier post and it's working for me.

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis 2.10.3.5 pre 3
That's correct Tony, about the sampling rate.
Repeat all of yours above, but this time with the M-Audio sampling rate having been set to 48000 in advance.
Looking at your debugview output suggests that you may have had the hostsample detail screen open while Thetis was trying to start. Because it ...

Re: cmASIO feature in Thetis 2.10.3.5 pre 3
Hi Jim,
Do you have DebugView from sysinternals.microsoft.com? If so, you can use it to see debug output from Thetis while it is starting which will show what went wrong with cmASIO.
Otherwise, there's a couple of Voicemeeter pitfalls you can check.

Hardware is nothing special, either the on board sound card or a pair USB headphones.
Where can I find the buffer setting please as I've looked in the driver and cannot see the buffer setting.

Your actual hardware device driver, you didn't say what you are using, buffer size must be set to 64 and sample rate set to 48000.

Is there any way to operate the Aana7000DLE MK2 over WAN?
