I have a 7000dle Mkii running Thetis 2.6.9. The Thetis manual states that you can switch TX/RX antennas on the fly, from the status bar. The example in the Thetis manual shows TX/RX icons in the status bar. However, there are no TX/RX icons in Thetis status bar in my installation. The only way that I have found to switch antennas is to go to the ANT/FILTERS menu.
Is there a configuration menu for the information/controls that are displayed in the status bar menu? Or were the RX/TX icons/controls moved somewhere else, or does it have to be configured elsewhere?

I think I added those in 2.7. They are a recent addition!

And Richie drew the icons - mine were a bit inadequate... never could draw

Re: TX/RX in Status Bar
Has Thetis 2.7 been released? When I installed Thetis about three weeks ago, the highest version that I found was 2.6.9. For my radio/antenna/amp setup, being able to switch antennas on the fly from the status bar would be one of my favorite features.
I'm new to Apache-Labs, and Thetis, and very impressed with both the radio and the software.
Thanks for the reply and for your work on this exceptional software package.

Re: TX/RX in Status Bar
I've bene running v2.7.0 (3/1/20) MW0LGE (a3) for months, and have never noticed any tx/rx status or antenna switch in the status bar. Now that I'm looking for it specifically, I still don't see it. And I don't find any reference to it in Lawrence G8NJJ's Thetis Manual.
Where is it, exactly? What does it look like?

Re: TX/RX in Status Bar
There is no TX/RX status indicator in the status bar of any version of Thetis. Not sure where that rumor even came from.
You should probably update to 2.8.11. In 2.8.11 there are two icons in the status bar that show RX and TX antenna selections, and clicking on them will allow you to change them instead of drilling into the setup windows.

Re: TX/RX in Status Bar
Hi guys, we have the RX and TX Ant switches in the bottom status line for some time now .... can someone pls explain what the logic is behind the TX switch? RX works ok.
Example: when i assign TX Ant 2 to 40m in Setup, then it switches correctly and the TX antenne symbol in the statusbar says Ant 2 also. So far so good.
When i stay on 40m and change that TX button to Ant 3: nothing happens, it stays on Ant 2
When i change it - still with the button at the bottom - to TX Ant1 then it change nicely to Ant 1 but there's no way to change it back to Ant 2 or 3.
Proberbly a user fault... or is it a small bug? regards, Leon (and best wishes to all groepmembers offcource)

Re: TX/RX in Status Bar
Have you got "do not TX" selected for Ant2 or Ant3? I can only reproduce what you describe if "do not TX" is selected.
An earlier report was that those buttons were letting you select antennas that were disabled for TX.... so we changed it. Setup still lets you select TX manually on ant2 if "do not TX" is selected for ant2.
