Using VAC1: 128 Buffer at 48kHz. PC is a multi-core i7, 32GB RAM, 512GB SSD machine. Perhaps I should go from P1 to P2 to solve some of the issue reported below.....?

I made a back-up of the entire OpenHPSDR folder and placed it in a secure place. Uninstalled current Thetis and reinstalled and upgraded to 2.9.06 x64 (4/23/2022) (Protocol 1 v2.7) this morning. Had to delete the OpenHPSDR folder as it was still under Programs. Restarted PC after reinstalling to the version shown above.
Some observations:
1) TX profiles are there.
2) Had to increase Ring Buffer numbers quite a bit from (Manual boxes checked) 5/5 to 25/40 on IN/OUT respectively as I could hear audio artifacts with the lower numbers I used previously.
3) Had to hike PortAudio numbers to 120 (Manual boxes checked) from much lower numbers that I used before (5 in each box) as audio artifacts were present otherwise
UPDATE: lowered numbers to 40/40 and 20/20 just now and am getting lower latency...........
UPDATE2: It seems that when I switch from one TX Profile to another I must retweak the RingBuffer and PortAudio numbers and then save the TX Profile now. IF I don't do that I get huge run-ups on under and overflow numbers. I think that on the previous much older software I used before the change I only set those on the VAC1 once, set/forget. Is there a way to save these as a default so that I just set/forget instead o]f having to do it every time I use a new TX Profile?
4) Latency increased from the moment I speak into mic to when listening to my audio in the MON. Before this change of software the latency was perhaps around 50ms and much better. I use a DAW (CPU load is still the same as before so this is a Thetis issues I believe and not DAW related). Audio quality is worse than before and even at the "high" settings shown above the audio has a lot of artifacts in it. I assume hiking the numbers even more will remedy my issue.
See screen-capture of VAC1 Form at end. Under/Overflows numbers shooting up extremely fast to numbers that I did not see on the previous software version.
5) Network throttle index:
I see there is now an option to tweak it from inside THETIS whereas I did this via the PC previously. How should I go about this now? NOT mess with the settings inside THETIS?
5) Receiver seems much less noisy (lower noise-floor than before) and I thought that there was something "wrong" with the antenna at first. Noise floor is about 2 S UNITS lower than before........

6) Calibration
Watt-meter: just like it was before
PA Gain: Numbers are now different from before for all bands and I see there is now a new option that says "Offset for: 20M". Can I assume that I need to use the "offset" thumb-wheels to set my PA Gains correctly for the different bands? I guess that with this new option one can calibrate the PA settings for each band much more precisely as the option has drive levels from 10 to 100?
I like the "Actual Power @100%" option that one can now use for every band.
7) I can only see "System" load on CPU now and can't switch between "system" and "Thetis" which I liked.
Suggestions, comments!
