Please edit your title. Thetis has not crashed, it has been blocked by your Norton anti-virus software.

Perhaps your virus definitions updated in a way that now has Norton flagging Thetis as a problem. You may need to tell Norton to generate an exclusion for Thetis.

Do you run Thetis as administrator?

I don't run as administrator but will try and it is already excluded.

Hi,

I run also Thetis 2.10.3.5 u2 and Norton for many Years (on WIN 10 64Bit), no Problems here.
With a new Thetis Version Norton ask me and I must allow it, than is all OK.

I'm not familiar with Norton, but it would seem it is not fully excluded from all checks. Achieving that level of exclusion would be a goal.

You could also test by disabling Norton temporarily.

Hi Scott,
It does not occur all the time. It does occur on demand when I reduce the waterfall window in 4k resolution. But I am running in 1080 mode and the waterfall problem does not occur but the other day norton gave me the data protection riot act and shut it down. That was the first time it happened on its own. I am running in administrator mode and have been waiting for it to occur again.

So far it's good with "Run As Administrator".
Thanks

Had to remove exclusion and then add exclusion again seemed stuck. Figured that one out because I could not install meters and skins. Gave me a data protection warning again. After adding exclusion I was able to install meters and skins.

my consensus over the years has been that ones PC runs better when infected with an actual virus than it does with norton security installed :D :o
