First Attempt with AMP Running

Post by LarryW »

I just got the new coupler from WaveNode Inc. This is the first try with PS running the amp.
Amp is a Acom 1500 running 500 watts output. Looking at the AmpView window, it appears we are ready to roll.

Any comments good or bad?
Thanks
Larry

It looks fine. What step attenuator value are you getting during transmit at 500W?

That's fine. It looks like you are in business.

Funny Larry to see you have the same setup as I have. Has a 200D with an Acom 1500 also with WaveNode equipment for the whole shack.
It works well for me too.

I too am just starting with Pure Signal. Using Thetis with a 7000dle.

Where do you read the step attenuator with Pure Signal?

Thanks

When you are transmitting the ATT (or S-ATT if you've switched it to that mode) indicator at the lower left part of the main console will show the step attenuator value being used.

I'm seeking a similar setup; which coupler did you order and how it is connected?

Thanks

I just ordered his standard HF-1 with the added RF Port. This sensor needs to be inline between the antenna and the output of the amplifier.

I have since bought the LP-700 and am happy camper!

LP 700 is from Telepostinc, and coupler from WaveNode

I didn't know the 2 are compatible
HF-1 w/ RF view I supposed.

I can't figure out how the two are connected :?:
