We have Expert Electronics with SunSDR and MB1 Prime but also with closed software. Expert also did not deliver all the promises (yet) with for example full duplex. But lately they catched up with some nice software upgrades ...

More or less similair to Flexradio, also originated from PowerSDR. You are locked in with the HW en software is more or less closed. Somehow you can not blame them, they put much effort in hw as unique selling point. And after a few years they charge you with a annual fee for sw updates etcc ...

I see Olliter has adopted / acknowledged PowerSDR / GNU General Public License (GPL), https://www.olliter.com/ol-master-license.html .

Updating firmware I always use SparkSDR https://www.sparksdr.com. Easy use.

No issues, clean W11 install and Defender/F-Secure and Thetis. Assume false positive. Try disable vrusscanners.

The new Anan 10E has an opening in the bottom (see picture). Also purpose for cooling (I assume).

Does anybody know what the latest Firmware is for Anan 10-E? Today received 10-E with Ver 1.5 and protocol 1.
Does firmware update work the same as with a HL2 ie rbf file with Spark? The manual is not up-to-date with Spark info on this subject.

I think Ritchie is right. They took Thetis and re-designed it for their own SDR brand. Too many similarities and it is not that you write something like Thetis overnight. And if you would design something new from the ground I would expect a complete more modern look and feel.

No sorry, worked for me. Are you sure you loaded the v17.bin file? Also full shutdown?

In VNC open terminal en run the commands, that should work.

Yes, I received my Anan G2 Wednesday with the same FW 10. I would also have expected to have the latest FW installed or at least the previous one. But it is what it is and not difficult.

Received my Anan G2 yesterday with the following:
Raspi OS Buster 10 is installed (Raspi model 4). FPGA bit file 30092023. Saturn product version 2. FPGA FW 10.
